Slow Day

It's Been a Slow Day" by Jennifer Susanto | Redbubble

That little snail in the header is me today.  Nice and slow.  I had 7 items on my to do list and only crossed off 3 items.  Am I concerned?  Nope, not in the least.  None of the things left undone will cause any kind of impact on the world.  Maybe my world, but not the global world.  LOL

I spent most of the day working on the "To the Point Shawl".  There are only 2 more rows to do and it will be completed.

It is nice to complete something in such a short amount of time.  I have enough of the purple yarn to make another one too.  Hmmmm........might just do that soon.

Other than crocheting, I did make 3 days of overnight oats for my breakfasts.  They are so good and filling.  Tonight's dinner will be leftovers again.  We still have plenty of brisket from Sunday and from last night's dinner.  Need to look through my recipes to find a yummy meatless meal for tomorrow night.  Any suggestions?

How are you all holding up? This is day 8 of not going into public, for me.  It is not bothering me at all.  In fact, I am quite enjoying my isolation.  Don't get me wrong, I also enjoy being with others but it doesn't bother me to be safe at home either.

Time to go and finish up that shawl.

Until next time...............happy crafting & stay well!

  1. I swear it's every other day that I am productive. Yesterday I worked really hard so what you want to bet I will be a slug today! LOL! I totally get it!
Your shawl is beautiful and I love the white edging. I need to make more of those oats... it's like the jar salads...I forget!
As for a meatless dish...I love Mario Batali's eggplant parmesan recipe but you probably don't have eggplant on hand. You could make his sauce though for meatless spaghetti with a salad and your homemade bread. That's what I'm eating this week. Enjoy your home and stay well!

  2. Ironically I don't seem to mind my isolation either. Funny. If this isolation was because of any other reason, I probably would be biting at the bit to be set free. Now, I find my home is probably my own safe place. I do miss my family something awful.

  3. I am good; I get a teensy bit bored and a little restless at times but I'm good in my Harry Potter pajama pants. I ordered some yarn for crochet. I think the husband put it into quarantine just now.
