OUCH!

I got my injection today.  Hopefully this will put my CTS into a bit of remission.  Let me tell you, the first 2 hours were so weird.  My thumb and first 3 fingers went totally numb.  About 2 hours later the numbness wore off and the tingling started up again.  Another 2 hours and the injection site about brought me out of my chair.  Unfortunately for me, I was out running errands when the last part happened.  Once I got home, I put an ice pack on it (per Dr's instructions) which helped the injection site stop hurting but then the CTS flared up!

The Doctor told me it could take up to 2 weeks for the injection to totally take effect. I have a recheck in 4 weeks.  If things are a-ok I will be set until further notice.  If not.................well, I really don't want to think about having surgery.  I asked about recovery......I really don't want to put some things on hold for up to six weeks.  On a positive note............it is not my dominant hand!

Enough of the pity party.  Things around Casa de Noce are moving right along. After my injection I did get 2 loads of laundry done and put away.  Next up, I took my antique mantel clock into the clock repair place today.  They said no problem fixing it but it will take 4 weeks to do.  They are a busy shop.  After I left there, I headed to the post office and then the library again, to turn in some books I had checked out and just could not get into.  I then headed over to the Arizona Salsa Spice and Company to pick up my all time favorite peach salsa. The mixture of sweet and heat......yummy.  The one thing I forgot to do today........take my scarves to my local LYS as the owner offered to soak and block them for me for a small fee.  I am more than happy to let her do it.  Maybe I will get time tomorrow to do that.

We are getting ready to head to Washington State next week to see our oldest son and oldest Grand Daughter.  They live in Port Orchard.  Same town author Debbie Macomber lives.  We will also be getting in touch with my nephew ( in Bremerton) as well as my BFF's sons. (Seattle)The main reason we are going is to help throw a 70th bday party for our DIL's mom. (Burien)  It will be a busy week and we are so looking forward to the cooler weather and time with friends and family.  I am really looking forward to the daily walk to the coffee/tea shop just down the road from DIL's mom's house.  The town is so quaint and friendly.  Hopefully we will have some time to explore it again.  It has been several years since I have been there.  So looking forward to it. (did I already say that?)

Gonna do a little knitting tonight, cook up some chicken for dinner and then head to church for adoration.  A perfect end to a perfect day.

Until next time..............happy crafting!
