I will keep this short this week. Hubby and I are getting ready to pack the car for our trip to Las Vegas to finally bury his mom. (She passed away 2 month ago) I still have a 16 yr old Granddaughter to wake up and shove into our car too. Her parents left yesterday so they could have a day of R&R before la Familia descends on the area (about 26 of us) as well as close friends.
I do have a kind of finish this week. There is also a cast on this past week.
The Rose City Roller sock #1 is finally completed and I immediately cast on sock #2. This is the only thing being worked on, other than the Giant Granny Square blanket. The sock is going with me on the trip. Not so much the blanket LOL.
Not much else this week. We took Christmas down and put it away. We started working on our backroom remodel again and have been informed our bathroom cabinets/vanities should be arriving the end of this month. (They were ordered the end of September!)
Once this trip is over, we are hoping to get back into some sort of a normal routine. We have not had that since before Thanksgiving. I look forward to it too.
I promised to keep this short so I will sign off now.
Until Next Time......................Happy Crafting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Whew! Sounds like a potentially very busy/stressful week. I hope things get back to normal for you soon!
ReplyDeleteNot a happy reason to visit Las Vegas. :(
ReplyDeleteYour sock looks wonderful Marsha! ♥
Your Roller City socks look great. Love the stripes and colors. Congrats on the blanket. My baby blanket is the end of me. Think I'm going to have to switch to baby socks!! Hope you have a nice family gathering.
ReplyDeleteHope all goes well for the burial. We delayed Dad's burial for awhile too, seems it's become much more common now with families working around Covid and holidays and just plain day to day activities. Safe travels to you all and I hope you find peace with some togetherness. Socks look good and still loving the colors in your blanket.
ReplyDeleteThose socks are darling and I really like that yarn. Your blanket is huge and very pretty. I hope you have a safe trip and all goes well and you can have some closure. I know what you mean about getting back to a normal routine. Take care....
